new in jboss - trying out examples. errors

Hi, i'm new in this j2ee thing.

I have just installed jboss and ANT, and set all the related environment setting include JBOSS_DIST.
So i went ahead to try the example downloaded from the web document and ran these.
ant intro-interest-jar.

I couldn't get this thing to compile.
Below is the error message.


C:\examples\build\build.xml:36: Could not create task of type: path. Common solutions are to use taskdef to declare your task, or, if this is an optional task,
to put the optional.jar in the lib directory of your ant installation (ANT_HOME)

try downloading the ant optional packages from jakarta.apache.org

Try searching this forum for ant.
