Log4j cofig in JBoss-3.0alpha

How does one configure the log4j service to read a different log4j config file other than log4j.properties. Namely, I want to use an XML config file (i.e. log4j.xml). In JBoss-2.4.x this was accomplished by altering the jboss.conf file and adding an argument, but I can not find where this is configurable in JBoss-3.0.

I would report this as either a bug or feature request
on sourceforge.
The log4jservice is currently "hard-coded" in 3.0
there should be some method of configuring it at
start-up.
