MIME type problem JBoss 2.4.4 / Tomcat 4.01

I'm trying to host a webstart application within Tomcat 4.0.1 bundled with JBoss 2.4.4. Now I'm facing a problem concerning the mime type of the jnlp files: in catalina/conf/web.xml is the correct mime type mapped to jnlp documents. But when accessing the jnlp file webstart fails becuase of text/html mime type. I searched the forum and mail archive but with no success... Any ideas?

To answer my own question: the problem was neither with JBoss nor with Tomcat but twith the Webstart proxy settings...
