Apache/JBoss/Tomcat Howto

Hi,

The past days I've been trying to get Apache JBoss and Tomcat to work together...
Browsing this Forum gave me a lot of help but sifting the old from the new information gave me quite a hard time..
nevertheless, my urge to get it to work paid of in the end..

just for you all to know what I did (eventualy), attached a rough howto...

Hi,

Did u use the Tomcat integrated version of the installable available or the Jboss alone? The reason I am asking this is because, I have an installation of Tomcat already available and I want to install the JBoss and configure the JBoss installation with the already existing Tomcat installation?

Any ideas are welcome...

Thanks for the HowTo, it was very helpful! I was a bit surprised that the JBoss documentation (paid) only briefly touches on getting JBoss configured with Apache. Your version was much more informative.

I would like to know about the configuration for Apache2.0x with Jboss 3.0.x

My problem is that I'm on Windows platform and there the mod_webapp connector is not stable. Hence would need to use AJP13 connector.

I know how to configure standalone Tomcat4.0.x with Apache 2.0.x but when Jboss come into the equation I'm at Sea.

I need a howto for Apache 2.0.39 and JBoss 3.0.

I can't find anything that works. Apache 2.0 and Tomcat 4.0 is working just fine. With JBoss in the mix, no go. Even when I use Tomcat4-Service.xml and put in the catalina connector just the way the docs say to do it.
