log4jservice in jboss 3.0.0beta Configuration

Hi,
in jboss 2.4.4 i used to have an extra jar log4j-JDBC.jar
to work with log4j.
Where (e.g in a .sar) is the log4jservice mbean configuration in jboss3.0.0 tree???

% grep -r -i log4j /usr/local/jboss-3.0.0beta/

didnt show a thing.

I could repackage log4j.jar including the extra classes
and put it back in /lib/ext but i'd like to do that
in the proper way.

I think you'll have to modify log4j.jar in the beta.

Log4j has been moved to the bootstrap process, to
allow logging as early as possible.

In latest CVS, you can change the jars included
in the bootstrap by defining the property

jboss.boot.library.list

the default value is

jaxp.jar,log4j.jar,jboss-common.jar,jboss-system.jar
