    JBoss hands on iiop-service.xml

    cfaucher

      Hello fellows,

I am running JBoss 3.0 RC2 / Tomcat 4.0.3. When starting up, Jboss sometimes hangs, always after printing the line:
      "Starting deployment of package: file:/C:/tetra/vsc/bin/jboss/server/default/deploy/iiop-service.xml"
-- and it hangs there forever.

When it happens, I stop JBoss (I have to kill the process though...) and restart it, and it usually works...

Any idea? Could it be because JBoss is looking on network for other CORBA agents?

Thank you in advance for your answers!

This still happens with the CVS build (27th July), has anyone else noticed this problem?

I am running jBoss on Linux (RH7.3) with jdk1.4.1. To kill the server I have to use the system monitor and kill the process (ctrl c is not enough) and after this has happened it stalls more frequently.
