Postgres configuration

Where can i find information about configuration of postgress, i saw the file jboss3.0/docs/examples/jca/postgres-service.xml, but I don´t know where put this file, where put the driver ?
in jboss3.0/lib or jboss3.0/server/default/lib ?

which is the directory that replace lib/ext ?.

we put in on /jbossdir/server/default/lib and it works fine.

I put the file there and start JBoss. How do I know it worked? What do I do next?

The postgres-service.xml file needs to go in the $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/deploy directory.

The postgres-service.xml goes in the $JBOSS_HOME/serrver/default/deploy directory. You can edit the connection parameters in this file for you particular database.
