How to add a servlet to the Template example?

I've added a servlet to the servlet directory and uncommented the last line of .ant.properties. The servlet is compiled and shows up in build/classes, but I can't access it. I skimmed through the quick-start, but I didn't see the details I'm looking for. What else do I need to do?

how are you trying to access it?
Do you have a web.xml that maps a path to your servlet?

I created a web.xml with the servlet and servlet-mapping and put it in etc/WEB-INF, but that doesn't seem to have an effect, at least not the one I desired.

I will add an Servlet example to the Template. So have a look at the SF download page when a new Template download is available.

Is it possible to add a tld (custom tag's) ass well to the Template? That would make the template almost complete for all kinds of projects covering most of the projects.

Many thanks in advanced for creating the Template. It helped me a lot as a starting point.

I am not an expert on JSP Tags and therefore I don't think this will happen soon except someone can provide me with an example like the JNDI Tag library from Jakarta's Tag libraries. So any help is appreciated (send to andreas@jboss.org).
