1. Re: where is the file about jndi(the mapping of name and val
davidjencks Aug 13, 2002 6:38 PM (in response to wqhhust)There is too a tool.
Point your browser to port 8082 (older jboss's) or 8080/jmx-console and find the jndiview mbean. Click on it, then do the list operation.
JBoss jndi is not persistent, it is in memory only, so there is no file storage for it. -

<Point your browser to port 8082 (older jboss's) or 8080/jmx-console and find the jndiview mbean.>
I use jboss3.0(new jboss) and the right port is 8082,not 8080/jmx-console .perhaps you got a typo.
But I do not know the meaning of the list, what is meaning of Mbean?where can I got the information about it ,thanks -

4. Re: where is the file about jndi(the mapping of name and val
davidjencks Aug 15, 2002 12:05 PM (in response to wqhhust)I recommend you study everything on the jmx page because it is a good way to learn what is in jboss: most services are mbeans, and are listed there, and clicking on their link and examining the detail page shows you what can be configured and often what they do.
After pointing your browser to port 8082 (Jboss 3.0.0) or 8080/jmx-console(later versions of jboss), find the entry that includes jndiview, and click on it. On the page you get to, find the button for the list operation, and click it. You should get a listing of everything bound in jndi.
