Hello World JSP/Servlet on Apache/JBoss/Tomcat

Hi JBosses,

Can anyone provide me with the Simple HellowWorld JSP/Servlet? I want to TEST if my servers are working fine. I am using Apache 1.3.26, Tomcat 4.0.4, JBoss 3.0.3

Can you also list the Directory structure of this - becos it is very confusing to understand which files should be where?

Would really appreciate if you could share it with me.

Any other relevant information of TUTORIALS on this would be appreciated.

simplest test:
make a directory foo.war in your deploy directory
put a foo.jsp in this directory with the words
'Hello World'
Then restart and go to http://localhost:8080/foo/foo.jsp

If you want a servlet then you will need
foo.war/
WEB-INF/
web.xml
classes/
Foo.class

where Foo.class is your servlet and your web.xml defines your usual web app stuff.

This will get you going.
