    problem with downloading Jetty

    emma

Belive it or not but I have some problems with downloading the Jetty server. I thought that I had managed it but then I found out that several directories were missing. At the end of tar -xvf .tar I gets the message 'Directory checksum error'.
Even though I downloaded one version that didn't have this error message I coulden't find the .jar files in /lib. Does it matter where I'm located or which version I choose. I have used mortbay's site to download, is there some other site to use?

Jetty is already included in the JBoss3.x distro - it is in ...../deploy/jbosweb.sar.

Unless you want to run it standalone, you probably won't need to d/l it separately.

If the file is still corrupted, please repost the link and I will report it.

          Thanks,

          Jules
