JAVA_HOME?

Someone suggested I download Cygwin(which I did), but now when I run the build.sh in the jboss-all/build diretory it tells me that my JAVA_HOME is not defined correctky.

1. Is this the JAVA_HOME for WinME or is there one that came with what I CVSed.

2. If I need to use the JAVA_HOME from ME, what do I use. I'm running Forte for Java as my Compiler/IDE.

You need to set the JAVA_HOME environment variable. In Win2K you can set it by right-clicking MyComputer and selecting the Advanced tab.

Basically - run msconfig.exe, switch to the environment tab, and add a new variable for JAVA_HOME

Another thing you could do, if you are using Forte is setup the environment var from inside the IDE(One of the tabs on the left - Processes??). Then run ant inside Forte to build jboss.
