Cactus with JBoss 3.0.3 - does it work with Jetty?

or do I need Tomcat? I installed the "Tomcat" version of JBoss 3.0.3, installed the cactus libs and ran a simple test. All was fine (both in standalone Tomcat and in the integerated JBoss)

I then tried to follow the same process in JBoss 3.0.3/Jetty, but got ClassNotFound errors for Catalina classes. My initial conclusion was that meant I needed to run the 3.0.3 JBoss+Tomcat - is that correct, or did I miss something.

AFAIK Jetty runs Cactus fine.

If it doesn't, please let us know.

If something is looking for Catalina classes then it has a dependency on Tomcat and is not written to J2EE interfaces.

I suspect some old configuration hanging over from Jboss/TC rather than a dependency in Cactus.

Please post the stacktrace.

Thank you very much for the reply. And in other searches I have done on the web, Cactus appears to work with Jetty. (I have shifted to Tomcat, so I don't have the stack traces to provide - however, it may very well have been user error on my part).
