EJB app works fine on windows but not on RedHat 8.0 linux

Hi:

I am trying to port an application that works fine on windows to linux. I am using Interbase 6.5 (same as in windows). Jboss comes up fine on linux and delploys the application. However, when I start the client to load data from the database, it hangs up in various places. The exception that I see is undeclared throwable exception : javax.transaction.HeuristicRollbackException. I am really stumped on this. I am using IBM JDK1.3.1 on RedHat 8.0 with Jboss 2.4.4.

hmm, could be a few things here. Can you post the exception so I can see where it is coming from? Does it always hang up or is it only on certain calls?
