2. Re: Just installed 3.0.2 - connection refused to localhost:8
lepekhine Nov 15, 2002 9:27 AM (in response to tezz)I use JBoss 3.0.0 and it sucessfuly connects to port 8082. As to port 8080 you need deploy some application. There is no defults. From my practice with JBoss I can tell you that only 3.0.0 version is more or less working. I have tried 3.0.4 and found it doesn't sutisfactory working with my applications. So, I recommend you to try 3.0.0.

tezz Nov 15, 2002 9:01 PM (in response to tezz)Ah ok, I see. I found jmx-console.war
when I tried connecting to
http://localhost:8080/jmx-console/index.jsp
I got
HTTP ERROR: 500 sun/tools/javac/Main
RequestURI=/jmx-console/index.jsp
is there something wrong with my configuration? -
4. Re: Just installed 3.0.2 - connection refused to localhost:8
adrian.brock Nov 15, 2002 9:08 PM (in response to tezz)You need to set the JAVA_HOME environment variable
so that jsp can find the compiler.

By the way, when I start the Jboss with run.bat, I check the network status (netstat) and found the port 8082 is not listening, what is the problem?
