Where do i go from here?

Hi,

I've just installed jboss-3.0.4_tomcat-4.1.12 on my pc. Using run.bat/run.sh to run jboss in default deployment. How will I know JMS is running/install? how will i use http://localhost:8080/mywebpage/index.jsp ??? do I have to configure this directory server/default/conf/ ? what file should I config? I used JBOSS.3.0QUICKSTART.DRAFT4.PDF as my referrence but it doesnt specify where should i config or test my first web.jsp for deployment. Should i restart jboss after I config the file in this directory server/default/conf/???

Pls shed some of your expertise...

Hi,

By default, no webapps are installed in JBoss, so http://localhost/ will give you an error, There is a JMX management console installed. If you're able to see it's pages at http://localhost:8080/jmx-console, JBoss is up and running.

If you want to install webapps, you must create a WAR file and put it in the /server//deploy folder.
