Problem during tomcat startut

hi,

i downloaded and installed the suite JBOSS 3.0.4 + TOMCAT 4.1.12 on windows ME.
So, now, i would like to launch the tomcat server by executing the STARTUP command file. When i do that, a first dos window appears for the startup execution, then a second one appears, named "java", which seems to initialize the server by executing some java commands. The problem is that the execution of these commands stops at this line : "INFO : jk running id=0 time=0/110 config=c:<TOMCAT_PATH>/conf/jk2.properties".
The window stay opened but nothing happens anymore and the tomcat server is not active.

What could be the reason of this problem?
