petertje Jan 31, 2003 9:59 AM (in response to foxet)This question seems to pop up quite often. Apparently, beginners find it very confusing that when JBoss is running, nothing can be seen on "8080/". Maybe it's an idea to include a simple war in the default JBoss deployment that simply shows a message like "Congratulations, you've correctly installed JBoss! If you want to deploy your own webapp on root you must do this and this, etc. bla bla bla"? Apache has (or used to have) something similar. Could be quite helpful for newbies....
