1. Re: Bind JBoss to specific IP
hichhiker Feb 3, 2003 3:05 PM (in response to hichhiker)How do I force JBoss config to bind to a specific IP instead of 0.0.0.0? I want to have multiple JBoss instances running on one server and instead of mucking with a dozen port changes, I'd rather use virtual IP's. Is this possible?
Anyone? Anyone? .... Bueller? .... Bueller?

2. Re: Bind JBoss to specific IP
erik777 Jan 30, 2004 5:26 PM (in response to hichhiker)I'd say this is a candidate for FAQ if someone can answer. This is a much needed feature, standard in most other server components (Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, MySQL, WebSphere, etc,...).

3. Re: Bind JBoss to specific IP
erik777 Jan 30, 2004 7:39 PM (in response to hichhiker)I found the answer on this thread:
http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=41532
where you can specify the host ip with the syntax:
./run.sh --host=<host ip>
or
./run.sh -h
to get a list of options.
I haven't tried on Windows yet, but am hoping it will work the same.
