I've successfully installed JBoss and added the EASIE JBoss plugin so that I can start and stop JBoss in Eclipse (actually WSAD 5.0). It starts and stops ok, but that's all!
How do I specify the JBoss server to run my web or j2ee project? There is no JBoss entry in Servers, and when I select "Run (or Debug) on server" for a project I see no way to specify JBoss. The option to "Create a new server" does have different versions of Apache, but my understanding is that I can use the bundled JBoss/Tomcat version.

Greetings to U2-
I have the same problem installing JBoss under WSAD5.1.1 there is no way to specify the JBoss server. Create a New server and Server configuration only shows Websphere, Apache and other. Other does not have the desired solution.
Where is JBoss under WSAD?
Any help appreciated? -

Found something. Try this:
To use the JBoss-IDE launcher select Windows > Show View > Other > JBoss-IDE > Server Navigator
from the main menu bar. The Server Navigator is the control center. Select Windows > Customize
Perspective > Other > Default Server to add a menu and buttons to the toolbar for controlling a default
server that you can select via Windows > Preferences > Launcher Preferences.
Greetings and good luck -

burrus_68 Apr 1, 2004 6:00 PM (in response to cummings)you say that you have successfully gotten JBoss to run! I still haven't gotten even far!!! I get a "InstanceNotFoundException" when I try to activate it in DOS.
Now, what do I have to do to configure it? Is there any kind of an env. variable entry in my Settings icon that I need to set? I of course am wondering if there should be any entry in the path or the classpath env. var.?
