Latest version of JBOSS/tomcat

Where can a guy go to get some documentation full of hand holding and ease for the latest version of JBOSS?
Important topics to me are:
Getting tomcat to work like it was meant to.
How to configure the whole thing, step by step.
How to keep tomcat and apache playing nicely.

I am tired of trying to get through all of the steps to getting JBOSS running via error messages. Can someone out there spell it all out for me from start to end?

Agreeing to adammede
A detailed documentation of putting Apache as web-frontend for JBoss would very much be appreciated. There are couple of "share-experience" tutorials about putting connector to make Apache frontend of Tomcat, on the net. They are pretty old and do not really work, nothing at all for JBoss :(
