3.0.6 shutdown broke

Okay, this is probably a known problem, but shutdown (shutdown.bat, shutdown.jar) is broke in 3.0.6. It works in 3.0.4, 3.0.5, and 3.2.0RC2.

After starting JBoss with run.bat, I execute shutdown.bat. I get the normal messages with shutdown but my run console session does nothing.

My environment is Windows 2000 Professional SP3 with the Sun JDK 1.4.1_01.

Any ideas???

Should I stay with 3.0.5 or go onto 3.2.0RC2???

I think this was broken in 3.0.6, but is fixed for 3.0.7 (fixed in Branch_3_0).

It's expecting a password, even if it doesn't need it. Just give it a dummy one, and it's happy again:

./shutdown.sh localhost 8080 -u jboss-user -p jboss-password
