Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from client-tes

hi folks,

I'm a newbie to jboss and j2ee servers at all (mainframer for 25 years)
I downloaded jboss 3.0.6 and try to test my Installation with the also downloaded template application. Starting the server and building the template client seems to worke fine, but starting the test client I have a problem.

the Subject is exactly the errorMessage I get when I try

java -jar client-test.jar

My System is linux mandrake 9.1

any Idea ?

I give the answer to myself,
I should have started the shell-script, which sets all the classpath stuff
rather than the pure jar.
