Setting up JBoss

Hi I'm a newbie to J2EE trying to set-up JBoss on my Win 98SE machine.

Can I check with anyone whether or not there is a set of step-by-step instructions on how to set-up JBoss on Win98SE? Or does JBoss work on Win 98 in the first place?

The Quick Start manual does not specify what environment variables to set or anything that needs to be configured first before starting the server.

Would appreciate any help.

Hi,

I am newbie to use /learn JBoss. I have just now downloaded JBoss 3.0.6.zip. I would like to use JBoss in Linux (RedHat) platform.
I don't see (find) any documentation on how to setup JBOSS, what other systems I need to install etc. Could someone help me pointing out where to find the relevant information to get going with JBoss.
