External war directory loading

Can JBoss pick up a war directory that is outside the jboss home directory. lets say, i have c:/mydir/test.war. How can i ask JBoss to deploy this war directory. Is it possible to do so?

try the following:
open jboss-service.xml,
find and its attribute and append the default setting (i.e. ./deploy) with your directory....
