simple onclick event on a treeNode/drag & drop question

Hi, I have created a rich:tree and I would like to add an event to its nodes that fires everytime the user clicks on one of them.
How can I do that?
The property switchType of the tree must be server or can it be client?
can I switch off the drag & drop in the tree?

I've done it but Im not sure if it the best way:

the "nodeSelectListener" attribute doesn't seem to work without ajaxSubmitSelection="true"

What exactly do you want? the local interface or the part for building the tree?

Does the nodeSelectListener only apply for single clicks? How do you call a listener function when the user double clicks a TreeNode?
