Controlling deploy order of war and ear (v. 3.0.6)

I apologize if this has been already covered somewhere but I cannot find the information.

I need to control the deploy order of my war and ear. My war has a startup servlet which depends on an EJB having been already deployed. I understand that the default deploy order is to deploy wars before ears and I suspect that I can create some kind of *-service.xml to control this, but I can't find any example of how to do this.

simple and quick:

uncomment prefix deployment sorter in your conf/jboss-service.xml

rename packages 01-somthing.jar, 02-something.war

order is determined by the number prefix
