web.xml test

Is it possible to test a web.xml before it is deployed to jboss?
the parser is amazingly fickle - keep getting error
"Element "web-app" does not allow "servlet" here" -
looked at dtd & keep rearranging the tag order etc etc,
recompiling & redeploying is way too tedious

You just need to run it through a sax parser
that validates the dtd.

The order must match the dtd.
