Bootstrapping startup class

Could anyone tell me how you can bootstrap services to a Jboss startup so that they start in the same JVM.

Currently we are using the Startup tag in the config.xml file for Weblogic where we startup some caching services.

We are looking to port the code to JBoss but are unsure how to implement this functionality.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I have not actually done this...but If I had the same problem I would look at using JMX. Create your MBean interface and then add that to the rest of the services started by JBoss.
