problems with shutdown in JBoss-3.0.6

Hi ,

I am having problems when using the shitdown.bat with this version of jboss. when run it doesn't have any effect on the jboss server even though I get the following:

D:\j2sdk1.4.1_02\bin\java -Djboss.boot.loader.name=shutdown.bat -classpath ";E:\jboss-3.0.6\bin\shutdown.jar" org.jboss.Shutdown
Shutting down server localhost:8080
Shutdown complete

Has anyone else come across this or does anyone know a way to get this script to work?!

Any suggestions appreciated.

I had the same problem. The shudown.jar of jboss 3.0.6 can't do shutdown to jboss server.

My solution was replace the shutdown.jar of jboss3.0.6 by the same file of jboss3.0.4 and funtions normallly.

shutdown -u username -p password
where username and password can be anything so long as u have not assigned username/password to the jmx-console.
