JBoss 3.0.8 what happened?

I have downloaded jboss-3.0.8_tomcat-4.1.24 and the tomcat files are not there. It should be just a bugfix version. And now it is not at the sourceforge page anymore! Should I wait a couple of days or should I go for the 3.0.7?

3.0.8 hasn't been offically released yet.

The download often appears on sourceforge
for testing purposes before the announcement.

You should either monitor the jboss-user
mailing list for the official announcement
or wait for it to appear here:

I just wonder if there is a way to know when the different releases are shedulled for release or the status of them.
I know that it can be hard some time to predict the time of a release in software development but even if we can't be 100% sure it would be easier for us to know when to upgrade or wait just a couple of days for the next version.

these are bug fix releases, schedule usually depends on how critical the bugs that needs to be addressed are

there usually is plenty of notifications between major releases
