JBoss-3.2.1 & java.rmi.server.hostname does not work

Hello All,

In the past I successfully used java.rmi.server.hostname with JBoss-3.0.3 and JDK 1.3.1_04 but with 3.2.1 I get Cannot Assign Requested Address: JVM Bind Exception when starting the WebService.

I have seen a few posts regarding this and JDK 1.3 do I need to upgrade to 1.4.x.

Without setting java.rmi.server.hostname the application does work on JDK1.3.1_04 and 3.2.1.

Any ideas.

Did you ever get this resolved, I have been having the same problem and I am using java 1.4.2.
