Problem in <rich:dataTable>

I am using Rich data Table to display list of urls.
The user has an option to delete or edit a url.

The problem that I am facing is when the user clicks on the Delete button nothing happens.

The java code is as follows:

public void removeURL(){

String urlRemove = (String)getDataTable().getRowData();
System.out.println(urlRemove);
}

public boolean isDisplayTable() {
if(urlList.size()>0)
{
displayTableData = true;
}
return displayTableData;
}

Please let me know, what mistake I am doing.

Can we use rendered and binding both properties of dataTable together?

As in the above case if I remove any one property of dataTable it works fine.

In my application I do not want to show the table if row count is less than one.

rendered="#{CreateViewBean.urlList.rowCount!=0}"
does not work.

However I was able to solve the problem by using rendered property in
column group instead of dataTable
