System: Linux RH9
Jboss: 4.0.0DR1 with Tomcat
JDK: 1.4.2
When I start up Jboss, I see the network usage on my NIC
is running around 70-80%, and that lasted for a few minutes.
So I fired up ethereal to grab some packets to see. It's
sending UDP to destination 224.1.9.1 on port 5555.
AFAIK, this port 5555 is for naming service. So, what is this
224.1.9.1 thingy?
Eventually, the amount of network usage drops to normal level,
but the packets to port 5555 are still running around.
Could anyone give an explanation on this?
