3. Re: Windows System requirements to run jboss 3.x
jonlee Sep 28, 2003 4:01 AM (in response to rahul_41)The answer to your latter question is that the forums software has a bug in it.
The answer to your former question is JDK 1.3.1 or higher for most OS platforms, for JBoss 3.0.x and JBoss 3.2.x. JDK 1.4.x is required for JBoss 4.0.x. This is all that is necessary for JBoss as it is a full Java implementation. -

5. Re: Windows System requirements to run jboss 3.x
jonlee Sep 28, 2003 6:24 PM (in response to rahul_41)YMMV.
For development, 128M is sufficient for small apps but depends on how much memory Windows draws by itself, whether you run in conjunction with the IDE, what IDE you are running, and also depends in part on the Windows version. 256M is preferred, 512M is optimum - you'll probably want that if you run Eclipse or Netbeans simultaneously. Processor speed - whatever is sufficient to run Windows adequately. -
