There are many threads in the forums that talk about having a separate log4j.* for their app and not tweak the log4j.xml in the conf directory. This thread talks about a logging universe to be created so that every app can have its own log4j http://www.jboss.org/modules/bb/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t= there anything in CVS that is being worked upon for this? I can take a cut at it if nothing is being worked upon. Also i noticed there wasnt a log4j forum in the Developer forums area and im posting this in the "Lizzards Corner" as well as "Install and Config" forums. Sorry 4 the crosspost.
