Hello.
I am porting a desktop application to web. Basicly, it has a top-menu, a grid and modal panels that open when i click items in the menu.
I only did the menu, grid and 2 modal panels and already my page has about 1000 lines of code, by backing bean the same. I do not want to continue in this rate, so could you hive me some pointer as how to continue, i am stuck.
The application will have to simulate the deskop application, so it should be full ajax, but i don't mind if some pages will be loaded traditionaly. If you know ASP, i would like to do something like a master page that contains the menu and web control for the modal panels.
Anyhow, some pointers as how to continue and make my application more extesible.
