Debugging with JBossIDE

I don't know if this is the best forum to post this message, but I didn't see any better matching topic.

When we start debugging with the JBossIDE plugin or connect to a running JBoss instance we can't see any local variables. When I try to place a watch on a local variable it says "<errors(s) during the evaluation>". We are able to see class variables.

We use:

JBossIDE 1.2.0 and 1.2.1,
Jboss 3.0.7 with tomcat and Jboss 3.0.8 with jetty
Eclipse 2.1
j2sdk1.4.1_03


(I think that some time ago I had the same problem with using netbeans and JBoss.)

Are you compiling your code with -g (debug) flag? I have been using IDEA to debug my code for some time and always see variables even when I step in to JBOSS code.

Yes we do use the debug flag this is our compile target:
