lonb Jan 28, 2004 11:06 AM (in response to manibhat)I wrote a script called "jboss" which I put in the /etc/rc.d/init.d directory. This script contains one line:
nohup /usr/jboss-3.2.3/bin/run.sh -c all &
I can manually call this script and it kicks off jboss fine, and it stays while I log off. -

andy_wagg Feb 3, 2004 2:18 AM (in response to manibhat)I'm using HP/Compaq/Digital Tru64 and depending on the OS version sometimes have had similair problems. I know use this Java Wrapper Service to manage it, works well & is fairly platform independent.
