was quite easy in the JBoss 3.2.1 with the Jetty engine included. You could modify run.sh and put in a "-D" java argument for Jetty like this:

-Djetty.port=1234

So how to do this as easy using the new JBoss 3.2.3 w. Tomcat included?

You configure a port for HTTP in deploy\jbossweb-tomcat41.sar\META-INF\jboss-service.xml. Look for <!-- A HTTP/1.1 Connector on port 8080 -->

Yes I knew that, what I was looking for was an easier way to do it, like with Jetty, so that I dont have to change something inside the sar file. Thanks anyway...

You can replace the port in SAR configuration with a $ {tomcat.port} system property which allows you to change the port with Java -D flag if you like it better.
