    JBOSS & Microsoft ISA Client

This is not a request for help but hopefully some information that stops anybody else struggling to get JBOSS working on a machine that has Microsoft ISA Client active.

For those in the UNIX community ISA is a software proxy/router server sold by Microsoft, it requires a module on all client machines.

The default setting for this client is to use port 8080 for all proxy requests,
but the client doesn't show in a NETSTAT -AN listing. The symtoms of problems with JBOSS default configuration is that the TOMCAT components fails with a port in use message.

To solve this I scanned the CONF directory and changed all occurences of 8080 to 8008, JBOSS then started OK.
