jboss 3.2.3 xpetstore 3.1.2 hsqldb init hang

I can use the hsql db manager client just fine ... do queries and see data. I'm also connecting via tcpip and launching this utility via the management bean. Now when I try and use the xpetsture "build.sh db" script it just hangs and doesn't init the database at all.

Anyone else see this?

I just did a copy / paste of the sql into the hsql database management tool via the mbean. Now the servlet version is up and running just fine.
