    Error when starting JBoss!

    solomonmovva

      Hi:
I installed JBoss 3.2.3 on Solaris 2.6. The only configuration change I made was to the JNDI port from 1099 to 10199.

When I start the server by running run.sh (unmodiified) I get the following error:
      2004-02-04 17:25:25,197 ERROR [org.jboss.web.localhost.Engine] StandardContext[/invoker]: Exception starting filter ReadO
      nlyAccessFilter

Am I missing something simple?? The JBoss starts up though.
      2004-02-04 17:26:15,280 INFO [org.jboss.system.server.Server] JBoss (MX MicroKernel) [3.2.3 (build: CVSTag=JBoss_3_2_3 date=200311301445)] Started in 1m:28s:368ms

I do have all the required env variables set okay.
      Thanks for your help!

Hello again! did anyone use 'gnutar' to untar jboss.
My original problem was due to losing some classes including ReadOnlyAccessFilter, when i used the generic tar to untar jboss.

If yes, where did you get gnutar from?
I actually got the source for gnutar and compiled it. But am having some issues during install as a non-sysadmin.
Let me know if anyone got the gnutar executable directly...
          Thanks a lot!
