1. Re: ssl on multiple JBossinstances
tonyawbrey72 Mar 17, 2004 9:24 AM (in response to bdv)I posted same issue a week ago and haven't gotten any replies, just FYI and I still haven't been able to figure out a solution. If you have any luck with this could you shoot me an email, I would be more than willing to do the same. It works fine until you throw the binding manager into the mix, I hardcoded the ports for the second instance and it works.
Thanks,

bdv Mar 18, 2004 8:05 AM (in response to bdv)Ok, I'll let you know as soon as I find something. Are we the only one having this problem????
OR isn't this possible in JBOSS??? and do we have to run on another applicationserver??? -

It is quite funny really how people think they are actually doing JBoss a favour by using it and expect immediate support by sugesting that they will use something else. -

starksm64 Apr 9, 2004 10:04 AM (in response to bdv)Not one of you has posted version info. Try giving the version of jboss, which tomcat version your using and what you have done to enable the ssl port mapping in the sample-bindings.xml?

6. Re: ssl on multiple JBossinstances
bdv Apr 13, 2004 12:10 AM (in response to bdv)jboss 3.2.3
i added following line to the XSLT-config part:
<xsl:variable name="portSSL" select="$port + 363"/>
and a bit further I added following lines to de xsl choose
<xsl:when test="(name() = 'port' and . = '8443')">
<xsl:attribute name="port"><xsl:vakue-of select="$portSSL" />
</xsl:attribute>
</xsl:when>
Is this enough information??? -

bdv Apr 13, 2004 1:09 AM (in response to bdv)sorry forgot something.
In the deploydirectory I found a "jbossweb-tomcat41.sar". So now you know the version of tomcat too. -

10. Re: ssl on multiple JBossinstances
tonyawbrey Apr 29, 2004 7:34 AM (in response to bdv)BDV, I have 3.2.4RC1 installed here and looked through the binding manager xml that is provided and it contains stuff for the SSL ports now. I haven't and won't have time to look into this for awhile as I am on some tight deadlines but this may resolve? If you try and it does, please post back to let me know.
Thanks,
Tony -
