1. Re: Getting Jboss/Tomcat/IPtables to start on startup
mikefinn Mar 25, 2004 8:33 PM (in response to lokmer)Look at jboss_init_redhat.sh in $JBOSS/bin. Not sure which style startup SUSE uses, but you should be able to tweak it, and drop it in. RH has a chkconfig util that you can use that provides the symlinks in the right /etc/rcX.d dir. Maybe SUSE has same?

2. Re: Getting Jboss/Tomcat/IPtables to start on startup
lokmer Mar 25, 2004 10:52 PM (in response to lokmer)SuSE's setup is a bit more obtuse than Red Hat's , but I did figure it out. It seems that in my rush to deploy I had neglected to ensure that mySQL was starting up at startup. That's fixed, and now all seems to be well.
Thanks!
