Status of bug fix for tab panel on ie7

Could somebody clarify the comments related to the fix for this bug:

I added a comment at the end which was not answered:
Is the bug fixed or are we not able to use xhtml with tabpanels (the workaround)?

Thanks a lot for your examples. The bug is reproduced and will be fixed ASAP. As a temporary solution you can try to change doctype declaration from
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
to
<!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en">

It will be included to documentation,
