JBoss connecting to jboss.org during startup

      Hi,

We are using JBoss 3.2.3 with Tomcat 4.1 on a Windows XP Proff development server. We have only been using JBoss for 2 months now.

The problem is that JBoss makes a connection to the following IP during start-up: 216.83.160.154 wich maps to www.jboss.org:http.

If there is no active connection to the internet during start-up, we get "context errors" upon starting the web app. This means that we have to make an internet dail-up connection everytime we restart the JBoss server or re-deploy the war files. We do not have a permanent internet connection on the development server.

Can this be disabled or switched off ? What is the purpose of this ?

Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks,
      Ben.
