          If u change JDK to 1.4.x, does the behavior appear?

            Yes that did work. However, I wasn't satisfied with that. So I downloaded the SDK1.5 Beta 2 (I had Beta 1). What was lacking in http://www.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=RunJBossWithJ2SDK1.5Beta was that it requires Beta 2 -- Beta 1 does not work.

              I had this problem with SDK1.4.01 (the 1 file package version - official !) & JBoss3.2.5 (WIN2K).

              Solved it by uninstalling the SDK, then installing JDK SE 1.4.2 and appServer8.1 (the 2 files version from http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/download.html#sdk ).

              Env vars (i use "/" instead of "\" for J2EE_HOME and J2SE_HOME because of some crappy soft i have to work with, and just doesn't work with "\") :

              J2EE_HOME: D:/Java/JDKEE1.4.01
              J2SE_HOME: D:/Java/JDKSE1.4.2
              JBOSS_HOME: D:\jboss
              Path: %JAVA_HOME%\bin;%JAVA_HOME%\jre\bin;%J2EE_HOME%\bin;(+ all win2k stuff...)
              CLASSPATH: .;%J2EE_HOME%\lib\j2ee.jar;%JAVA_HOME%\lib\tools.jar;

                Thought that problem was solved but it isn't :/
                Same error appears again... Don't know why, since i didn't change the classpath nor installed anything.

                Help required know...
