AWStats or Perl on JBoss?

Can JBoss be used to run perl scripts so one can use AWStats directly on JBoss without passsing first through Apache?

If so, has anybody already setup this configuration?
Any help would be appreciated !

For JBoss : apply the same stuff into the jbossweb-tomcat41.sar

Same problem faced by Me.
Did u find the solution,share to me also .
(i.e Log Format is not supported in AWSTAT for jboss log file )

please guide me if u know .
