How to preserve state in "client" type rich faces tree compo

Hi,

I am using rich faces tree component to display my navigation menu. Once the user selected a menu page gets reloaded, but the tree menu looses its state. How to do that?

In tutorial I saw the below comments:
Note how the tree switched on "client" does not "remember" its state when whole page is reloaded. At the same time "ajax" tree remembers its state without any additional code.
